In the first volume of this monograph ("Accent") we clarified and explained the medieval system of church aserg (accent). We have shown how ritual texts were chanted (singed, recited) using the main signs of accent and punctuation and their varieties. Accent is the basis of spiritual songs, because ultimately, the melody of the song is formed from the pronunciation of the given language.
